Restoration Hardware Inspired Vintage Book Bundle

When I saw the Grand Tomes set at Restoration Hardware, I fell in love. They are intended to be copies of the books produced in France in the late 1700s. Only one problem for me...they cost $195! Whaaaat? So I decided to create my own version...and I did...for only $6.00!
Here's my version...and at a tiny fraction of the cost...only $6.00! I love the vintage look!
You will find a detailed list of the supplies needed and all instructions as well as the graphic to print out at this link: http://tinyurl.com/ohh7u65
And...taaa daaa!...here they are! You can dab the edges of the pages with a warm damp tea bag to loosen them up and darken them if you like. Tie the books together with jute twine for an added vintage look. I love how they turned out...and $6.00 beats $195 any day in my book!

Lisa's Creative Designs on Jan 02, 2015Great job Debbie! I am always amazed when I see these big companies selling old book bundles at a ridiculous price when there are thrift stores FULL of vintage books with a great patina. I use them in my decorating all the time. :)
