Start a Gallery Wall with a Vintage Map

I'm turning my seldom used dining room into a library-inspired office/school room. Until recently, I had a huge armoire in this room to store my craft supplies and extra serving pieces. This room has a cathedral ceiling so the once the armoire was removed, I was left staring at a huge blank wall. Perfect spot for a gallery wall! I came across some 1930's editions of National Geographic magazines which included maps. Because of they had been folded for some 80 years, the maps were beginning to tear along the creases. They were beyond using as a whole. I took various size thrift store frames all spray painted black for unison and began piecing the map into each. I've got one spot in the upper left corner still in need of a frame and map piece. But, so far, I'm loving it! Quick, easy, and pretty cheap!
