Liquor cabinet

Becky D on Jan 04, 2015I saw a wine storage post on Pinterest that was beside the refrigerator that may work for you. It was cubbies built into the wall and the bottles slide in. Possibly you could modify that concept and build the liquor cabinet into the wall just under the dimensions you need it to be.. any area not large enough for bottles may hold your glasses. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Pat Nolan on Jan 04, 2015Since the "basic unit" of liquor and wine is the bottle, a liquor cabinet can be anything bigger. 48 inches is quite wide enough; how about an area to work on, counter top high and storage above and/or below? My entire liquor cabinet is a two level lazy susan, below counter in a kitchen corner cabinet. Your's can be much nicer.Helpful Reply

Cheryl on Jan 04, 2015And I've been making things left and right using pallets. So the cost is minimal and you can achieve all types of looks. Easy to customize to a particular spot. I'm building a stand alone unit for my daughter for her New York apartment that will hold wine, glasses and cookbooks and her kitchen table will fit right into it. Check out Pinterest or a myriad of other web sites for ideas.Helpful Reply

Creative Interiors By Connie on Jan 04, 2015You could definitely use a try on a stand for the bottles and shelves above for the glasses, etc. This would work great. None of this is more than 48" wide. Your shelves could be made from reclaimed wood and spray painted to color of choice. Shelves could be cut to any size.Helpful Reply

Marion Nesbitt on Jan 05, 201545" is narrow? Boy, I'd like to see your kitchen! LOL Like Pat Nolan's suggestions. Need a countertop for mixing drinks, etc. - bar set, ice bucket, etc. The baseboard could be used as a kick back. A pic of the area would be helpful.Helpful Reply
