Cleaning laminate cabinets

My cabinets are some sort of rough laminate material and they seem to absorb dirt and are not easily cleaned. I have tried cleaning with a magic eraser sponge but it does not seem to work well. Does anyone know of a good way to clean them and to keep them clean?

If you would post a picture it makes it easier to see what your talking about. I clean 3 or 4 apartments daily with laminate cabinets. I think you talking about inside the cabinets? But I am not sure because laminate. On the outside is usually smooth. So post a picture of the material I we can see exactly what your cleaning.

Baking soda and peroxide mixed into a paste and rubbed on the doors,, will clean most anything.
