DIY cork wreath

Great to customize for the Holidays!
my wine cork wreath I made a few years ago. I estimated about 1,000
corks went into making this one. I added some handcrafted wooden
ornaments I had and a twig wreath from the dollar store attached to the
front. I covered the nail hanging this wreath with a champagne cork.
Corks attached to a hay wreath with a wire stabilizer wreath behind it.
The hay wreaths are not stable enough to attach the weight of all those
corks and stay formed.

Thomas P on Nov 23, 2013Mary Ruth, a great job. I am in the process of making one myself. Here's a tip for faster cork collection. My son is a bartender at Bravo's. He has many people asking him to save the wine corks, within a few weeks they get about 1,000. They usually give him a 5 dollar tip. So hit up a local bar and grill!!!
