Changed Chicken

Always like this chicken ,but gold did not go with my newly painted kitchen.
Looked at chicken figurines online, painted the white with craft paint, feathering into the black that was already there. Sealed with craft varnish, then added shading by using antiquing medium and wiping off to suit me,
Sealed with spray sealer and I love it again!

Thanks for your comments. I am scared of chickens and roosters too, but love collecting the ones that can't chase me or peck me!

I have this very same chicken (along with the rooster too!) They came with me from 2 houses ago...what a fantastic idea to update them to my current decorating theme!!! Thanks so much!!!!
