I always grow basil in pots in the front yard and I'm always giving it away because I cannot keep up with it. Then to tide me over in the winter I always dry some as well.

I love basil too. I have it in my garden outside and I started some in my greenhouse last week and its growing great. I hope to have it all winter.

Teresa, I haven't tried. I just use my dried basil to tide me over until planting time. Anna, if you find out about growing inside, I'd love to know. Cool Carol! I want a greenhouse. :)
