TRYING TO GROW A PEACH TREE FROM SEED
by
Pamela F
(IC: homeowner)
My twins, Jaden & Jordan each brought home a peach pit this August. They cleaned, dried and placed them in a ziplock bag and stored them in the refrigerator. Today, they decided to plant them. FAMILY PROJECT!!!! My husband was successful cracking open a pit without damaging the seed, lol. Our boys cleared an area with the hoe and my husband filled the pot with "weed/grass free" dirt. Then, Jaden & Jordan planted the seed 4" deep, added topsoil, mulch and watered it thoroughly. Wish them all the best! They said that they can't wait to be able to eat a peach:-D I'll show them your comments. P.S. his colorful hair is due to "DRUGS MAKE ME CRAZY DAY" at school in order to teach students that "the best me is drugs free".
Enjoyed the project?
