Benjamin Moore claims that it's Advance paint is easy to clean up with soap and water, has low VOCs, outstanding flow, and is self leveling. It's low odor and available in unlimited tinted colors and dries to a hard durable finish. My experience wasn't quite like this.
brush strokes were impossible to get rid of
this is how it looks as it tries

I have also tried this paint with unsatisfactory results. I am sure glad I tried it on a bathroom remodel before using it in my kitchen. It is not self leveling, brush strokes show and the odor was very offensive for a long period of time. It also is a "satin fininsh" and is way too shiny. I use Benjamin Moore paint for all my projects and I find this product has more shine than the semi gloss I use on my trim. Will not use this product again!

I've been painting for over 50 years and have run into every problem I could ever imagined. I no longer use oil based paints. Latex paints have worked well for me. If I am seeking a textured look I will use a fabric roller, if not, for a smooth finish I always use a sponge roller working right to left keeping a wet edge. (right handed) And I always paint the back (inside) of the door first. There is always a wipe on polyurethane you can use for protection. I'm sick. I LOVE TO PAINT!!!!!! Best of luck.
