Beginning of Our Sunroom Renovation

$600
Medium
When we moved into our home I LOVED the sunroom area, but I HATED the way it looked. So I decided it needed to be white and bright and get rid of the nasty stained, blue berber carpet.
Here is how the sunroom looked before. It was stained plywood on the walls with weird leaf prints thrown around.
To cover up the stained plywood I ended up using 3 coats of primer and two coats of paint!!! 5 coats in all!! But it was worth it!!!
For the flooring I decided to to go with a Vinyl Plank flooring that we had also used for our basement. It's great for high humidity areas and I wanted something flexible since it's the sunroom and it gets really hot and really cold.

It's also super easy to put down. I did it myself while the hubby took care of the little one!

Great space , plus love the white and the floor looks a lot like what we used in our kitchen redo. Can't wait to see the furniture you put in there. Would LOVE to have a sun room!

We are getting ready to redo our sunroom also. I was considering just repainting the plywood floor, but I do like what you did. The heat doesn't effect it? I know my dad used the self stick tiles in his kitchen & they eventually started moving. Would love to see your updated pictures.

It has only been about 10 months since I put it in and so far so good!
