Repainting the bathroom and need some advice

Ok because of a window leak I finally have an excuse to repaint my bathroom. Our plan in the future is to gut the bathroom completely but for the time being, here are my ideas. I want to paint the walls with SW aqautint blue. I am planning on painting the cabinets with Annie Sloan chalk paint in white. The tile however will have to wait. Do you think these color will work in this bathroom? Should I leave the cabinets as is?
This is my bathroom currently (well pre window water damage). I'd like to paint the cabinets white.

That is a very minty green. Looking at the color chip you will see that the associated colors are rather startling in hue. Perhaps a softer green-blue would look better with your beige floor. Tidewater is a pretty color with a bit more tonal depth. Pure colors like Aquatint generally look better with white than with tan tones. Your color, although lighter, will carry these minty/teal tones. If you decide to paint your vanity, chalk paint is an easy way to go. AS Pure white sands beautifully. However, just an FYI, never use wax to protect chalk paint in moist environments. The wax doesn't harden properly and can become sticky and holds dirt. General Finishes High Performance topcoat in Flat will give you the same look and works fine in bathrooms.

Sometimes if you paint a contrast color it only brings the attention to the eye sore even more. In this case, if you want to mask the tile you have to blend it into its surroundings. Pick a color that best matches it. We had the problem of that ugly faux marble. Benjamin Moore Edgecomber Gray was our closest match. Use the blue as accent pieces or window treatments.

I would frame the mirror. We had a bath like this and went with the neutral colors and framed the mirror, we also replaced our counter top because it was a 70's blue color. It made a world of difference with a small amount of money. We were selling the house and they loved the bath, all three of them. Just a little updating goes a long way when you are on a budget. BTW, we got our new house cheaper because it needed updating, so it does make a difference.

@Heather Bastianelli I agree with @Sjaschke that you should try to blend. Consider some of the off white, light beige/tan/sand tones etc. that will blend with the counter and tiles. Best to go to the paint store and pick a number of swatches in the shades you would like - even some you think wouldn't work and the blander ones that will blend, bring them home and tape to the walls to make a decision. The white annie sloan paint should work with whatever wall colour you choose.

Here you have a visual... this is the best way to get a clear picture of projects like this. The white is a bit stark. Would you consider a greige tone? Not too yellow or too grey, something that would be a compliment to your new wall color (look at Tradewinds by Benjamin Moore) and keeping in mind your hardware.

Thanks for all the replies! I am still fixated on a blue hue however. We plan on replacing the tile in the near future so I'm not that worried about masking it. I found this picture and while not the same type of tile the color is relatively close and I like how it looks.

Choosing a paint color by looking at our monitor screens is pretty tough. We all see the color a bit differently. I pulled out my SW paint fan and do like the color. Still, there are so many things to consider. My advice is to get an idea, an inspiration photo, of a bathroom you love. Then try to recreate it in your room. Purchase something (a rug, a shower curtain, artwork) to draw your paint color from. I always tell my clients "Paint is often the first thing you'll do in a simple redecorating, but it should be almost the last thing to choose in the process". All that being said, if this is "the" color you want, then see what you can find to carry out the look you want with accessories etc. Then it'll work. :-)
