Rkefirecracker on Jan 11, 2015You can either use commercial grade Quikrete 5000 mix or crack resistant Quikrete. Home Depot sells both for $5 - $6 an 80 lb bag. Your form for your countertops must be made of melamine which Home Depot also sells.Helpful Reply

Using a cement board as a countertop
Can you use a cement board (I.e. Hardie board, Duroc) on top of the original countertop and seal it to get a "cement" countertop? If so, will it be heat resistant?
