This wreath was crafted from gourds that I dried, cleaned, and polished with a light wood stain. Every year when I buy colorful gourds to use for decorating, I save them by letting them dry naturally in my basement. The next fall I clean them and have a new set to use.
Preserved gourd wreath
Here you can see the color and texture of the preserved gourds. They are so pretty! I do not throw my gourds into the compost pile. I dry them and then use them for decor for years to come.
Get more gourd tips and see more of this wreath on my blog.
