Becky Kutz on Jan 12, 2015Make sure you clean them with TSP, Tri sodium Phosphate I believe its called .Do not get it on any thing you want to keep a shine on . You need this to take the grease and dirt off before you paint .Then use fresh water to rinse the cabinets off. I used a sponge roller when I painted my cabinets years ago . Good luck to you .Helpful Reply

Laurie Culley-Holevas on Jan 12, 2015Use a heat gun on low to remove the paint, clean and prep well as if you are painting an automobile then use an "Automotive paint" or tractor paint. They'll look beautiful and they paint will adhere properly. After the paint sets then spray them with a clear automotive coat.Helpful Reply
