Spring Hydrangea Wreath

This wreath is child's play to make. You just need a grapevine wreath, some silk hydrangea flowers and a burlap bow and if you like, a wood monogram.
First you need a grapevine wreath and some large silk hydrangea flowers - or any flower you like, actually.
I cut off the long stems on the hydrangea and then wired the blooms onto the wreath. You also need some draping greens underneath the flowers as shown in the picture.
I bought some wooden numbers and painted them white and glued them onto the wreath. Burlap bows help to round out the wreath. I wired on almost everything so that the heat from the sun doesn't melt things off.
Be sure to put a wire hanger on it. I didn't do that initially and the wreath kept falling. It got a little disheveled but it straightened out and looks great. Have fun! Visit my blog for more instructions: http://www.craftsalamode.com/2015/01/charming-hydrangea-wreath-diy.html
