Easy Lampshade Update

Update an old lampshade with some fun fabric and a contrasting trim to give it a custom finish. Full tutorial with detailed steps can be found on the blog link.
For two lampshades I used a yard of fabric for the main bold pattern and a yard of fabric to make the bias trim.
Measure the circumference of your lampshade and add an inch. Measure the length and cut the main fabric to size. Binder clips will help keep the fabric in place as you wrap it around the old lampshade.
Hot glue the bias trim to the top and bottom of the lampshade to cover the raw edges of the fabric. It is the bias trim that really gives the lampshade that custom look.
