Mason Jar Powdered Sugar Shaker

How cute is this little DIY for a Mason Jar Powdered Sugar Shaker?
Roger & I have been eating a lot more waffles recently than we have in the past. He has this amazing recipe that I am constantly begging him to make for me (& will eventually share with you). Sometimes I even go to the store to pick up the extra ingredients we will need just so that he'll have to make them for me! Sneaky right?

The only thing about making waffles is that he insists on adding powdered sugar on top to make it look more professional - & who doesn't love powdered sugar on top of everything? However he never seems to be able to find the powdered sugar. He even recently opened a brand new bag right after I had refilled our powdered sugar container - lets just say I now have a whole lot of powdered sugar to eat.
So to make life easier for him & myself - I can't always keep a close eye on him when he is in the kitchen - I thought I would make this Mason Jar Powdered Sugar Shaker! Plus I needed another container for all of that powdered sugar!

You could use the ones with a handle on them too.

I just did this last night with an empty instant-coffee jar!! It worked perfectly, I used a very sharp knife to make the holes! Thank you for the awesome idea!!!
