Finally got the pulls and label holders to put the finishing touches on our dresser re-do. A $39 Thomasville Dresser Goodwill find turned into a treasure. Our first attempt at distressing/repurposing a piece of furniture, and we're very happy with the project. Entire project, including dresser, paint, label holders, pulls, etc., under $100. Shannon Rone Jakoby on Aug 11, 2015I am hoping to do something very similar to an old armoire I found at a thrift store. Do you have an original post that took us through the steps to this beautiful masterpiece? Did you paint all one color first? Sand between each? What colors did you use for the body of the dresser..blues/browns. any tips on brushes, rags, etc? And can you get all the products you used at a Lowes? Thanks so much!

Leslie D on Mar 06, 2016@Shannon Rone Jakoby So sorry, I missed your question! This is the original post. The instructions (if you can call them that....I didn't think to take photos while doing the piece, so the instructions are just written), can be found here within thie comments. http://www.hometalk.com/diy/bedroom/dressers/thrift-store-find-distressed-and-almost-finished-637261
