DIY Wire Tissue Holder

In our guest bathroom, there is no place to store extra rolls of tissue in the same area as the toilet. I can just imagine how embarrassed my guests will be when they realize they’re out of tissue and have to reach out of the toilet area into the area where the tissue is with their pants around their ankles. I don’t really even want to imagine it. I needed to solve this issue before it really became an issue. My diy wire tissue holder will solve this problem and will save my guests from embarrassment. Enjoy!
What You Need: Hardware Cloth (I used the ½” one because I didn’t want the squares to be too big), Wire Cutters, Needle Nose Pliers
Determine how wide you want the diameter of the holder by placing an extra large roll of tissue in the center of the wire.
Using the wire cutters, cut out the section of wire you need for the base of the holder. Make sure you leave prongs on the ends of the section.
Cut out a smaller section, just about 5” wide and a few inches shorter than the bigger section. This smaller section will make it easier for people to reach in to grab a new roll. Leave prongs on the end of this section, too.

Using the pliers, bend down the prongs.
Hook the prongs from the smaller section to the larger section. Use the pliers to bend in all of the prongs. You should have a swinging effect between the two sections.
