Artist In The Garden on Jan 22, 2015You could make a pathway. To save money it could be narrow. Prevent mud puddles by creating good drainage. Best pathway materials are concrete sand 2 inches thick, raked, moistened and packed. Top this off with 2 to 3 inches of unsifted granite scree ( stone dust ). This stuff packs very nicely. Easy to maintain such a path with a blower or lightweight floppy steel leaf rake. Good luck !Helpful Reply

Carla Ross on Jan 27, 2015I was told that the elderly woman that lived here had all her grass killed off first. Then when she had grass replanted she had them airate (not sure of spelling). Neighbors said they used a roller that put holes in the ground. Now when you walk on the ground it is like walking on gravel LOL. I have a heck of a time mowing. Any suggestions, besides taking up all the grass the correct way putting new soil on to level the ground and reroll it but with a flat roller. I have a hard time walking due to health issues so I hope this summer I can fix it cheaply.Helpful Reply
