used wd-40 and it worked on foam stickers. then I used dawn and white vinegar to wipe up the oil that ran down the door
In the future, try and use a hairdryer before you peel the sticker off.

Try Goo Gone.
Spray the stained area with All Purpose cleaner and wipe with paper towels. If stain persists, dampen a sponge with warm water and liquid dish soap to work the area in a circular motion. Rinse with water.
