I would also try using a razor blade scraper...pair that with the goo gone...

Some of those home shows were disasters. I had a resident who panted her bathroom...the walls, tile, tub, sink, towel bars, TP holder...that was a long and costly turnaround...charges passed on to resident of course.

actually, a razor blade will scrape it off.

I had a customer (I used to work for a paint manufacturer) who accidentally splattered paint on his car. We advised to try WD-40 (let it sit for a few minutes) and he did. Called us back to say it worked wonderfully without scratching the finish on his car. If you need a scraper, use as plastic one so as not to scratch the tub. I've tried this myself on my wood floors and was pleased with the result.

Usually hot water is enough to lift the paint with your fingernails, but if that doesn't work, a razor blade (angled as close to the the tub as possible) works. Should slide right off.
  • ..i agree with Jo Anne Rose, the WD 40 works. I have also used a product for years, called Krud Kutter...takes off dried on paint...and is a great cleaner for grease as well.

Thank you for your responses. It looks like someone put the paint can in the tub and it left circles of paint. I will try the suggestions and hope something works.
