Recycled Garden Decor

Even though it is cold and snowy outside here, I am dreaming of summer and my garden. Take a quick look with me at last year's fun recycled garden decor.
Taking a look at what I did last year and thinking about what is stacked to the ceiling in my shed, has my mind whirling with ideas for this year. Let's take a look at what I did last summer.
That month I spent doing mosaics last summer was time well spent. I got to spend some great time with my daughter (the best part), made some very fun decor for my garden, and made some very appreciated gifts for family and friends.
We mosaic-ed anything that didn't move, it seems. We learned so much and had a blast.
A trip to the thrift store yielded some clear glass bowls and vases that became garden mushrooms.
I made a couple chicken wire dress forms last year. They were a long-anticipated project that was even easier than I imagined. I have since made several more.
I had a wind chime workshop with my best friend. Oh, did we have fun: creating, sharing, talking, laughing and eating. It doesn't get much better than that... Oh, and we made wind chimes. I made this fun silverware and flower frog chime.
And this busy shabby chic wind chime. For more information on these projects, check out our blog post. It will also give you links to each individual project post. Happy creating.

@Brooke Bock these are really great ideas! They are so whimsical and add a lot of character to the garden. Really love your wind chimes - will have to try something like this with our extra silverware. Thanks for sharing.
