Country Design Home on Jan 27, 2015Hi Dale! I love the look of painted pine paneling. If you are planning on keeping the beige carpet, I would definitely go with a creamy white like White Dove or Linen White (Benjamin Moore). Or, if there is a lot of trim and molding, paint that the white and add a color to the walls themselves, depending on what your furniture palette color looks like. If you could add a photo or tell us what your style is, that would help.Helpful Reply

Janice on Jan 29, 2015paint the paneling and shelves all same color as the walls. for example: grey walls with the paneling and shelves grey too. decor/furniture may be black/grey/red. the room would look bigger and blend with paneling and shelving blending in with the walls same color. to me, it gives a well-blended look and continuity too.Helpful Reply
