Schluter Ditra Uncoupling membrane, can it be used on a backsplash?

Kirsten Veneziano on Jan 28, 2015For a back splash you can glue right to the wall, just use the right adhesive.Helpful Reply

Lucy Nunn on Jan 28, 2015I don't think there are codes about fire resistance by outlets. That's why you have GFCI outlets in the kitchen....and if you didn't notice the wall being uneven before, I'd think you could just tile over it again. The smaller the tiles, the less trouble the installation.Helpful Reply

Anna on Mar 07, 2015All those rough patches from removing the old tile will be a problem that you have to deal with. You will have to smooth the wall before installing the new tile.Helpful Reply
