Country Design Home on Jan 30, 2015If you blend it correctly, you shouldn't have any brush strokes. I use plaster of paris + calcium carbonate + water, make that into a very smooth paint and then mix that into my paint of choice. Works beautifully and leaves no brush strokes.Helpful Reply

Marie on Jan 30, 2015Sue, do you make long strokes or random ones. Perhaps it's technique. Looks like there are some of us who don't care for all the brush marks. Just used first coat with calcium carbonate and i added a little floetrol to the mix as I had read that somewhere as a one to help eliminate brush marks. Looks better than the POP did, but not brush free. Would love any info you can share.Helpful Reply
