Spring Time Light Switch Cover
by
Bonnie Oxton
(IC: blogger)
I received an order from a friend and client for a " Spring Time Light Switch Cover" with tulips and daffodils. The first step, after finding the cover, was to sand it so the paint will have a rough surface to stick to.
My next step was to freehand my design of Springtime flowers.
This is it finished and sealed. The screws were also painted as part of the design. Viola!

Gail Allison Conrad on Nov 07, 2016I would love to try this but unfortunately I can't draw. My father taught me how to draw a 3D box when I was little and that is all I can do. This is beautiful Bonnie. I may try putting some beautiful wallpaper on one instead.

Have a question about this project?
Is viola a typo? I live in France so assume you mean voilĂ but not sure. Anyway I love the idea and will have a go myself but not as good as you at drawing so may try a stencil!
