Valentine's Day Windowboxes With a Birdhouse Theme!

Switching our winter windowboxes out for Valentine's Day was simple! I salvaged the winter greens and added red accents with a birdhouse theme!
Saving money and using what I have is always my goal, so I rummaged through my stored birdhouses and collection of wreaths (many found in summer garage sales). Choosing out heart shapes and red accents for Valentine's Day was fun!
Keeping the winter greens, I placed the birdhouses and wreaths, then added cuttings of Red Twig Dogwood, pine and some pinecones. I had to work fast, it is COLD out there!
Turns out, I had enough birdhouses, wooden hearts and wreaths to make two pretty windowboxes on the front of our house. They will add a bit of color into the drab winter landscape until it's time for spring windowboxes!
