Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Feb 02, 2015Have you checked with the local senior centers? Also scouts are always looking for special projects so perhaps reaching out to them. They supply the labor, you supply the materials and food to keep the happy. In our area we have a special day called helping hands. Those without assistance or funds put in requests to the town and upon acceptance to this early June companies and all sorts of folks come to several homes throughout our town and paint, clean, install siding, roofs, handicap ramps, you name it. All done in about two days. All materials are donated by companies and local groups. Don't have one of these days? Start one. Contact the local chamber of commerce and see if they can start one in your town.Helpful Reply

Trudy Hibler on Feb 02, 2015Is there a local RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol) in your area? Many times they're eager to bring some joy to someone. Boy Scouts are an excellent suggestion, as well. Check with your local city or county office. They may know of organizations and/or businesses looking for ways to give back.Helpful Reply
