Joann Jarvis on Feb 03, 2015Thanks for the suggestions, because the area is about 12 in. high I just might put several framed pieces of coordinating fabrics on the wall about 5 in. apart. When the bed is lowered you see the blank wall But when the top of the bed is raised you don't see it.Helpful Reply

Loretta Clark on Feb 03, 2015In that case you can put drapes the width of the bed even if the window is only behind part of it. That would work better if the window is centered under the window.Helpful Reply

Paula on Feb 04, 2015I have seen someone use a beautiful quilt for a headboard, attached to the wall. Looked fantasti. She used something like a whiteboard on the back of the quilt so it made it easier to hang and also gave the quilt some depth.Helpful Reply
