DIY Wooden Couch Sleeve

6.1K Views
I saw an Etsy listing for these with a hefty price tag, and realized I could make mine for about $5. These are so easy, I'm already making sleeve #2 and have requests from family to make some for them as well :)

This is genius. I think this will solve my space issues in my small apartment living room.

Soooo utilitarian!! I love it. I have a love seat that's been asking for one (or two) of these.

I realize this is an older post, but it's still 'alive' and sorely needed! I think I will make mine with a surface that could hold up to wet/hot mugs and maybe a drip or two... piece of colored glass? if the measurements come out right, maybe a piece of leftover countertop, like Corian, or even a thin granite tile, without needing to grout it, of course!

Love it! The arms on my couch are frayed and this would cover that up AND be a nice place to put a drink or remote:)
