Wardrobe Makeover

I found this cabinet in my favorite used furniture store after looking quite some time for one for my daughter’s room. She had a white wicker chest of drawers we bought several years ago which reminded me that you get what you pay for. I came across this old, solid piece and just had to have it.
Before picture of the wardrobe...usually, I'm all about keeping the old hardware, but I really didn't care for it.
I knew I wanted to add a mirror, so our friends at a local glass shop did a fantastic job placing the mirror onto the door.
I cut trim pieces to fit around the mirror and glued them on for the frame.
I found new hardware that had a traditional look for less than $2.00 a piece and spray painted them. I ended up spraying the paint on too heavy so I distressed them to make it look like I didn't mess it up.
Here is the finished piece. The paint color is Benjamin Moore Sweet Caroline.
