Shabby Chic Mom Cave

I was asked to design and decorate this small, beautiful bungalow. For the design I requested white clap boards on the walls (BM White Dove satin), a bookcase near the high ceiling, sliding barn doors (with windows) and grey washed planked floors. For the decor, I decided to go shabby chic, with creamy neutrals, a touch of pink and feminine touches. I hope you enjoy this tour into my beautiful Mom Cave! The bungalow shed was made by the Wright's Shed Company located in Utah.
This gorgeous bench used to be an old headboard! It was repurposed by the amazing Darcie of Re-D-Fined Furniture https://www.facebook.com/ReDFined. Doesn't this sweet space call your name? It makes me just want to snuggle up with a good book and a steaming mug of hot cocoa!
This gorgeous rosette fabric rug was a DIY project that I made - I love how it turned out! You can find the link to this rug and the other DIY tutorials on my blog post for the Mom Cave.
It's all in the details! I had so much fun accessorizing this space, mostly with decor from Tai Pan Trading.
This bookcase turned out perfectly - I love how it meets the high ceiling. It makes great use of the small space! A ladder was built to easily access the books!
I know I would love to have this beautiful bungalow in my backyard! Visit Design Dazzle for a lot more pictures and the DIY tutorials on how to make the fabric rosette rug, lampshade frames, fairy lights, and kids bed turned fireplace mantle!
