i love gardening, my porch is also My oasis, and plants plants plants. I'm in my "middle 50's", recently widowed and havea house I share with two adult children. So the sky is the limit, as long as they can "stand it" i.e. Oh mom, NO lol
Favorite area of home improvement:
improving on a budget, rooms like the kitchen, the porch, and dyi projects , my garden is also my passion , small tho it may be it is big enough for wild rose bush, an azalea bush and many many plants which is rare in south philadelphia.

Gardening: Peach Trees.
One of my two peach trees is so heavily laden with peaches that I fear the limbs will break. They are hanging almost to the ground. My Master Gardner cousin told me to pick some of the peaches off and throw them away. I hate to do that. I wonder, if it survives the crop, if I need to prune it in a different way for next year. I had to get far back to photograph as the tree has blocked the back yard. I will post a close up of how the limbs are in such trouble. Tell me what you would do.
