LibrarianTellsAll on Feb 07, 2015I'd paint her a very bright color. My first instinct is to say cobalt blue, like the color you see on blue and white antique dishes. But it would help to know what colors you use in the room where you will display her.Helpful Reply

Cynthia E on Feb 10, 2015Have you ever used Modern Masters or Sophisticated Finishes metal paint products (paint is actually finely ground metals in a bonder that you paint on and then use a reactive medium they have to age it if you want) since it was already bronze you could go with a different finish copper, steel, iron.. I could see this as iron with rust patina or you could paint with chalkboard paint. If you want to get completely away from paint you could get seed beads and or small mosaic chips or even cut up old cds (11/0 with maybe a few larger size like 8/0 and 10/0), get some E6000 glue. either draw designs all over and fill in and around with the beads and chips,or find a pretty cat fur coat pattern and replicate glue the beads/ chips down and grout when done. Take decorative paper or paper napkins or lace and decoupage it all over the cat. Would love to see what you end up deciding to do be sure and post a picture.Helpful Reply
