Guest Bathroom Renovation

This bathroom had good bones, but it just needed some updating.
Time to remove the wallpaper and get rid of the grey. We love the wall hung toilet!
After removing the wallpaper, we painted the bathroom a Kelly Moore Victorian Gold flat paint color. We had our tile guy add the travertine around the arch of the tub, the tub surround, a border and of course the steps and floor. It really warmed up the space.
New mirror and wall sconces were added, along with wrought iron towel rings and bars. Tortoise shell light fixture.
I hung a tapestry, and added a console table.
I wanted a wine themed fountain outside of the window, so we looked for a wrought iron wine rack. We both wanted an arched look to mimic the arch of our bathroom.

Surprising what you can find at a Ross store.
The wine fountain was made with many bottles of wine. My husband used a drill bit to cut the glass and added tubing to some of the bottles, so the water could flow through. Add a fountain pump, make sure it is powerful enough and then add something to pool the water. We used one of those black plastic pond containers, we bought at Home Depot. Then the water just re-circulates, running water out of some of the bottles. My husband also added a light, so it looks lovely at night.
The travertine floor is Philadelphia Light in a versaille pattern. We used the same tile around the arch with a border.
