Industrial Style Makeover for a Typewriter Stand

Have you ever had someone GIVE you something they were selling at a Yard Sale? Well, I was given this trashed old typewriter stand at a yard sale. I asked the price, and the women said I could have it! I happily hauled it home, where it sat for MONTHS, just waiting its turn for a makeover.

Since it was a freebie, I didn't want to spend a lot of money making it over, but I yanked off the top someone had added to it, and brought in some pieces from a pallet to create a new top.

Some sandpaper and a little love, and it now has a fabulous industrial style and is super useful AND great looking!
