DIY Bedroom Canopies

My home is old enough that it has crusty and outdated popcorn ceilings, but we don't have enough time or money to have them all removed. So to make our room more intimate and relaxing as well as mask the holey (yes there are a couple small holes in it) ceiling, I decided to construct two bedroom canopies.
I'm a part of a monthly DIY challenge group that I participate in with other bloggers and the material for this month's challenge was plumbing pieces and I figured that these would be perfect for canopies!
My bedroom canopies are super quick and easy to make and put up and I just love how they make our bedroom feel more cozy and dreamy. For more glamor shots and info on how to build these canopies, be sure to view the full post on my blog here: http://www.dwellbeautiful.com/monthly-challenge-bedroom-canopy/ Here's to sweet dreams :)

Sandra Crosbie on Mar 20, 2015I really like the way your ceiling turned out it is billowy and seaside looking.
