Mirror gallery wall

Go for it or forget? I taped some lighter mirror frames to the wall, the ones on the floor are waiting until I decide whether I want to pursue the project or quit.

Thank you, Trina. I put the first nail in the wall right after I saw your encouraging comment :-)

I like it! So, will they all be mirrors once you decide placement? If so, I think its a fabulous way to reflect light and ad interest to this large area.

I have something like this on my living room wall. Mine are mirrors and they do reflect the light in a soft way..Keep going!

This is a great idea, but I would either mix up the shapes more or keep them all in the circle/oval family.

I agree with you, Luise. The initial idea was to have oval shaped mirrors only. And hey, I can changeone or two of them after a while too, that's the whole beauty of this little project :-)

Monika, I just finished making a gallery wall, & what I did was to put all the frames on the floor & organized until I got the most pleasing arrangement. Keep at it, I think it's going to look super!

Jan, I started the same way but they somehow looked different so I rearranged them twice (so far ;-)

Like it! Good placement and the additional shapes that are on the floor will add variety. Greenery on the little shelf would be cool too This may not be in your overall plan, but I think if the wall were a different color, or even a darker gray, it would make the mirrors pop. Really like what you've done so far. It's fun huh!

I love it and it can be fun to keep adding as you find new frames and doodads.

Think there are options other than nails so you can add, rearrange, etc. without having a wall full of holes (like I have!) Forget the name, but think you can get them at Big Box stores.

Line up the large mirrors' outer edges on the imaginary sides of a rectangle. Use the smaller frames to fill the spaces in between. I have a wall that was inspired by our photo wall at our wedding reception. I used skeleton keys to fill the smallest spaces where it still needed something to balance the wall but small picture frames were too big or not enough. I started on the floor too like Jan. Ugh I have been looking for that picture since the morning but I give up I can't find it. I'm sure I will find it when I don't need it anymore. I have a few idea pictures but they are not mine and I am not sure about their copyright.
