I was dying to use up some of my fabric scraps and had come across this amazing map of the USA on pinterest. I was totally inspired to make one of my own! However I wanted mine to be on a burlap backround! I just love my burlap!! Stop on over to the little green bean on instagram to see what else I have been up to!
I literally just grabbed 50 scraps and got to work! Don't worry about matching here. Trust me!
I cut each state out from a different scrap
Add to burlap, my favorite!
Then I started to sew! I loved everything about this project!
Now I can not wait to get it hung up in my room!!! Keep those scraps handy!!
Enjoyed the project?

I copied a map from google images and took it to Staples to have it enlarged. I had two made in case I wanted to make another one. I have since had it quilted and it is now hanging in my living room. It was so much fun to make.

I was just wondering how I was going to get the pattern. I will do the same. But finding a full size map is tough

We have one of those sticker maps you put on the side of your RV to show what states you have visited. I saw this and thought wouldn't it be fun to map a quilt and just add to it as we visit states.
