Blowing Glass Bubbles?

Many of you know that I started a Hallway project using all the left over glass pebbles (you know those kind you get at the craft store in the little net bags) that I had stored up for years just waiting for an idea to pop into my head. This is the final stage of that hallway wall project
Here is the beginning project: http://www.hometalk.com/diy/decorate/walls/using-glass-pebbles-as-wall-decor-7073443
I used a picture of our granddaughter Tatum as a model. The little glass pebbles, when glued unto the black painted surface really popped and gave the illusion of real soap bubbles floating in the air. I had to paint the entire wall with flat black. This is the wall before the painting started.
My desire was to find a way to tie in the panel of grouted in glass pebbles with the rest of the wall. The idea came to me to have a little girl blowing soap bubbles which also contained scripture and glue the pebbles on in such a way as to give the illusion that they were filling the space at the right.
I decoupaged scripture onto individual glass pebbles and allowed them to dry before gluing them to the black wall.
So this...
Became this..
These kind of projects come from having a lack of money. I truly believe that lack of funds breeds creativity! I would have never thought of this otherwise. Unfortunately I cannot get a floor to ceiling picture, because the hallway is too narrow. It is actually breathtaking when you can see the entire wall.
Enjoyed the project?

Thank you for sharing! God gave you such wonderful abilities that you use to bless and witness to others. If you have a collection of projects, I’d love to have one, too!
question, did you apply decoupage medium to the glass and to the medium or just both sides of scripture? Again, thank you!

Hi Bessie -Thanks for stopping by. I just put a drop of Mod Podge on the paper and pressed the glass down on top of hit to squeeze out all the bubbles. Let dry over night and used a file to file of the edges of the paper. Hope that helps.
