Two Ways to Paint Lettering Onto Distressed Wood

I wanted to add a rustic element to a gallery wall in our front entrance. I had an old distressed board and decided to add some words to it to make a sign. I used two different methods to get two styles of lettering for the words.
For one of the words I used a dollar store stencil set and dollar store acrylic craft paint in antique white.
Second I transferred a font from the computer using a chalk-transfer method, then carefully traced over the chalk with a white paint Sharpie.
It turned into the perfect finishing touch for this vignette. See detailed instructions for each of the methods on the blog. http://bit.ly/1vF73f5
