Shabby Little Rocking Chair

When I saw this little dated little rocking chair at the thrift store, I knew I could make it sweet again.
Here is the before. At $4 it was worth bringing home...
And here is it's shabby little makeover:
A little spray primer and two coats of Rustoleum's Blossom White did wonders for this little rocker, but it really needed something else. I originally planned to make a skirted cushion for the seat, but decided to add a padded seat instead:
It was quite simple to do. Here's what I used:
The fabric was a piece of scrap linen that I transferred graphics to with an iron, using Lesly Riley's TAP paper.

A little sanding in the right places gives this chair a shabby feel, but of course you could keep it new and fresh if you prefer that look.
I had these rosettes left over from my Rosette Framed Mirror and they were perfect to add a sweet detail across the back!
Hope you enjoyed seeing this sweet makeover as much as I enjoyed doing it! :)
