Sherrie on Feb 23, 2015When we clean rentals I always use a leaf blower. It will clean dust and cob webs fast. We also have hoses and we scrub the garge floors after we get them swept out. We use the big commercial brooms and scrub them down with cleaner like pine sol and then rinse. When the garage floor is stained and oily and filthy we have muratic acid and masks. We wet the floors down and then pour muratic acid in the floors and scrub and rinise the floors. We make sure everything is totally emptied out when we do this. We wear mask and gloves, long pants and long sleeves. This will also rust all metal. But normally good old pine sol and a good scrub does the job. Hope this helps.Helpful Reply

Angela on Feb 25, 2015Keeping the door shut is my number one defense for dust. Also, it sounds obvious but just trying to remove as much clutter as possible and used garage cabinets for things like weed chemicals and gasoline. Less out in the open, less to clean. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Kala Professional Restoration services on Feb 25, 2015Depending on if your floor is greasy or just full of dirt will determine the kind of cleanser you need to use. Sweep first and if your floor needs more attention, use appropriate cleanser and mop to clean it.Helpful Reply
