Easy to make sliced wood ornaments

I needed to decorate a tree that promoted my business for a community project. The tree would be outside for a month so stuffing it full of upholstered chairs, woven kilims, silk curtains and chandeliers would be a little inappropriate. Unless...they were of the hand drawn sharpie kind :) Check out my post to see how my interior design tree came to be: http://shannonberrey.com/_blog/Shannon_Berrey_Design_Blog/post/wood_ornaments_how_to_gift_idea/

Louise Adkins on Nov 28, 2015Lovely. If you aren't saving the wood pieces to use again, Ms. Schottenloher is correct a kindergarten or preschool class would love them for matching.

Suzanne Schlabs on Apr 18, 2016I love this idea - I'm going to use it to make Texas themeed coasters for our (very) rustic weekend cabin! THANKS
