Before I stain, how can I tell if/where there will be sanding rings?
Is there anything I can do or use to see where these rings are before applying the stain? Water doesn't seem to do the trick...Thanks!!

Follow your H on Feb 22, 2015Shine a bright light from a low angle on to your wood, this will show you the imperfections. The most important thing about sanding is not to push down with the sander. Let the sander do the work.Helpful Reply
