Janet Manger on Feb 24, 2015Lived with a window like this for 30 yrs and was told the same thing. Once the seal (gas between the panes done at the factory) is broken there is no way to fix it. I had to live with mine because it was a section (square) of a very large picture window divided in sections and the curtain hide it from view so just left it. No one noticed it so I just let it go.Helpful Reply

Mssmatch on Feb 24, 2015I used a caulk to seal. In the summer the heat dried up the moisture trapped inside.Helpful Reply

Denise on Feb 24, 2015If you are the original purchaser of these windows, most have a life time warranty and should be pursued with the company purchased from.Helpful Reply

Birdie Berghuis on Feb 24, 2015In double panes windows, there's a gas that helps with cold/ heat. So if the window is open, the gas is gone. Replace the window. There should be replacement done by the company particularly if you put them in and have your paperwork.Helpful Reply

Joy Derouen on Feb 25, 2015Sadly you can not have it repaired. If it is under warranty they can replace just that unit instead of having to replace the whole window. Double pane windows have a gas in between the panes of glass. My husband and myself worked for a home improvement co that installed this type of windows. We have replaced quite a few because the seal had broke between the 2 panes. Good Luck whether you change the whole window or just the window pane.Helpful Reply

Marion Nesbitt on Feb 25, 2015If it's attended to right away, apparently this can be fixed. A company here does some sort of air removal and reseals.Helpful Reply
