This door was given to me by a custom doorstop owner. It was damaged and was headed to the graveyard so I had to give it a second chance!
It's solid wood and a bit hefty!
It had one porcelain knob which of coarse I reattached after working some magic....
I didn't want to do a "traditional sanding so I bought a drill flapper wheel to give it a creative sand.
My girlfriend and I came up w/an idea to make a "hall tree/water jug holder so I made a seat and measured it to fit two 5 gallon water jugs.
Since it was going to be a "hall tree" I added some early century door knobs to hang coats and such.
After realizing it's way too pretty to cover w/coats and fill with h2o bottles I added a few pieces I inherited from my grandparents and made a shrine for meditation.....
