We were contacted by this Customer who's son was relocating to Dallas and who wanted to do something nice for his first apartment away from home.
She asked that we make a headboard using old barn wood and rustic planks mixing in stained pieces of wood.
After we delivered and installed it the Customer added the light on top.
The headboard in our shop before loading it to go to the Customer in Dallas.

Good morning Anita - we started with using authentic barn wood that we cut to match the widths of the plank wood. We then stained the plank wood Early American. We then determined what size bed we were going to make it for then cut a 3/4" thick piece of plywood and attached the legs. Starting from the bottom we used random widths and lengths of the wood. We finished by buffing in a finishing wax to seal things.
