Thrift Store Clock Makeover

I scored this fun clock at a thrift store. I loved the shape and look of it, but wanted to make it over to fit more for our home.
It has some great "insets" on it and I knew they could become features of the clock. I was able to pop off the plastic accents on the bottom of the clock very easily.
I took some scrapbook paper and Mod Podged it inside both of the insets. I painted the rest of the clock black.
Now, this clock fits in our home perfectly.
Who would have known this was a thrift store clock to begin with. I love that a little paint and pretty paper can totally transform something!
